Keep your hardwood looking great
Once installed, your new hardwood flooring will look beautiful. However, traffic and general wear will take their toll on your flooring over time. To keep hardwood looking and performing its best, incorporate some care and maintenance into your regular cleaning routine.
What to do (and what not to do)
DO buy a high-quality broom and sweep your hardwood regularly.
DON'T use a vacuum with a beater bar. Beater bars can scratch your flooring. Instead, invest in a high-quality vacuum cleaner without one.
DO buff your floors to restore luster when they seem dull.
DON'T forget to wet mop! Use a terrycloth mop with a rotating head.
DO spray a professional hardwood cleaning product when you need to tackle tough stains and spills without dulling your floors. We recommend contacting us regarding specific products for your particular flooring.
