Why choose vinyl?

You've likely seen vinyl (also known as resilient flooring) in kitchens and in bathrooms. This is because it's attractive, easy to clean, and moisture-resistant. When it comes to design, the sky is the limit. In fact, you can completely customize your flooring by mixing contrasting colors and textures and creating medallions or curved cuts that express your unique vision and personality.

Sheet vinyl

For busy families who are looking for minimal maintenance, an attractive and uniform look, and flooring that won't break the budget, sheet vinyl is the ideal option.

As the name implies, sheet vinyl does not come in individual tiles; rather, it comes as a single sheet. This has upsides and downsides. While sheet vinyl is effortless to install and is more affordable than LVT, it's more difficult to repair if damage occurs. However, it resists moisture just as well when properly installed, and it will last a long time with a little upkeep.

Luxury vinyl tile (LVT)

LVT (also known as luxury vinyl plank or LVP) is in a class all its own. While it is similar to sheet vinyl in many ways, LVT does have a few additional benefits. As you may have guessed, LVT comes in tile form. This allows you to customize your design with different styles. On top of that, many homeowners feel that LVT more closely imitates the look of real wood, stone, or ceramic tiles.

Another benefit of LVT over sheet vinyl is its ease of repair. You can address individual tiles—and replace them altogether—without having to replace your entire floor.
